Have really thought about him since someone posted on here today. I am not at all sure. I agree with you about his time at Luton. But I am just not sure he is the right fit for us. Always has struck me as a player who doesnt back up his talent with a work ethic. Could be completely wrong about him, but I think he has been a bit lackadaisical about his career. I bet he is on some money at Villa too. I think we will be better served by really hungry players. Ones that have a lot to yet achieve. I have not been a big fan of Le Fee so far, but I can genuinely see the link to Regis and the desire to succeed. I feel with him he needs to find a place to call home after 2 moves that werent right and he looks like this is where he wants to be. That is the better backstory for me.
I'm not massively for Barkley tbh, I like his technically ability but don't really like him in a CM 2 out of possession - which we will still play next season Le Fee has shown glimpses of his ability, he isnt a no10 though, I think he's better in the deeper role as an 8. He changed the game for me on Saturday when he dropped deeper and we got him on the ball - he is technically very good I think a full preseason and we will see a really good player this season
Good player, saw him live this season and he looked very composed on the ball - didn't have much to do defensively though
What we thinking for the months up to January from the current squad who we think can start and keep us in touch? (Left jobe out for obvs reasons): Patto? Hume Ballard cirkin? Neil? Elf Mundle Mayenda Rigg, Isidor, onien and maybe alese (he has the pace at cb if he can get fit) to contribute but not as starters. Because of the size of the squad I think the likes of Roberts will have to be retained (he’s earned it btw even if his game time would be low).
My midfield would include an added acm with regular goals and added physical cdm ideally with height ans let Rigg Le Fee and maybe Neil scrap for their place.’
My thought with Barkley is him and Enzo in the two 8s provides two players who can chip in point forward and coming back. Rather than a 10. If you get my thinking im thinking it’ll be ELF in jobes role this year with neil or a new big DM so essentially Barkley would be Rigg out of possession
My thoughts as well, there's something about Barclay that I'm not to sure about. Likewise with Lee Fee.... interesting times ahead. On a separate note, did anyone else here Ballard say to Watson after the final whistle "Stay, please don't go"?
Interesting that with us now in the premier league it "should" be beneficial in keeping our best young academy players (Trey,Finn,Neill,Jones) but a double edged sword in it will be harder for them to breakthrough it'll be crucial more than ever to get good at finding these lads good loan moves
Any you guys seen much of Lucien Agoume of Sevilla. @Scout73 @JimHeron92 he’s one id like think his profile transfers as a 6 in the premier league
Yeah he's brilliant, arsenal have had scouts watching him for about 2 years but nothing concrete. To be honest I assumed he'd be out of reach but completely slipped by me that Sevilla were 17th, definitely would want to ask them.
Yep why I raised the question they signed him for around 4 mil too no? And they had a terrible season
Literally was looking at him yesterday as a possible signing, my mates a sevilla fan and he rates him Says they are a mess at the minute so could see him going
