From what I've seen i do think Diakite would be comfortable at LCB, obviously nice having a natural left footed there in Lucumi

Bade and Diakite are both very very good, stand out 2 cbs imo however thimk it'll be 1 or the other

 

I’m not sure no news is necessarily good news every tine. Everything went quiet after we were strongly linked to Petrovic and then he signed for Bournemouth.

that’s why I like news!! I’m too sceptical to think no news is good news.

I don’t know either wel enough to judge, but Lucemi looks silky in possession, Diakite looks an absolute warrior. Both would be a dream come true.

 

I never called him a legendary number 9 mind, I said he was their only “really good” one.

No nation on earth produces as many top class CB as the French.

Used to be Italy and Germany and the odd year Brazil but France absolutely fire them out left right and centre.

It’s actually mental how many they have that would waltz into most national team, including England.

 

I think that’s underselling it if we got both mind.

Would be far better than top 10.

We’d just need CM, wingers, GK, fullbacks and forwards to catch up…

Bade and Lucumi are similar priced no reason we can’t get one of those and diakite

 

Pretty hard to choose, Bade they are asking €30m so maybe something happens just below that fee - like you say cheaper than diakite.

Diakite was however a standout in Ligue un as one of the best CBs in the whole league...

Until this season I would have fancied Bade as one of the best in LaLiga. Honestly bring me either and I'm chuffed but diakite feels like more of a coup for some reason.
