On the Neil and cirkin thing, while they probably don’t warrant (or tbf expect) the same wages as £30m signings, the club needs to be very careful that they aren’t seen to be taking the piss out of the players who got us here. Remember we may need players to get us back here in 26/27 - and that becomes harder to do in a sensible way if we have a reputation for not looking after the players who take that job on.
Cannot see the club taking the piss the way its run at the moment. Its probably agents telling the players they can get more

We’re still going to be massively underrated and seen as underdogs. The other forum I’m on (which is neutral fans) seem set in their consensus that Longstaff is “by far the best signing the promoted clubs have made”. And that we’ve invested heavily in untested players and it could go horribly wrong.

Honestly I wouldn’t have it any other way. I’m embracing it.

These fans all thought we had no chance of promotion as well.. so…

I’m really bored of the premier league experience thing

I’d like maybe 1 or 2 who know the league and teams / stadiums etc for what to expect

but the prem experience thing used to come from the fact England was a physically tougher league than most, centre forwards would come and get bullied or defenders etc

but nowadays most leagues in the world are extremely physical. Especially Europe.

enzo le fee has said he found Ligue 1 more physical than the championship

yes the premier league has a higher average quality of player but there’s just as many poor players as there is decent just like any league in the world

France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Belgium, Netherlands, all are quite physically demanding these days, football has changed

I completely agree. I think the standard consensus of what makes a good promoted side is what’s caused promoted sides to keep getting relegated. Status quo doesn’t work.

Like obviously a bloke scoring 30 goals in Holland isn’t necessarily going to get 30 in the premier league.

but physically they’re ready for the league if they can translate their technical attributes they’re fine, you can tell when someone is most likely a good player in a **** league or whether he’s someone who can translate his attributes to other leagues

Theyll definitely just be saying he's the best as they've hard of the rest

I like what we've done so far, there's still a lot of work for us to do but pretty much every team could say the same
