On the Neil and cirkin thing, while they probably don’t warrant (or tbf expect) the same wages as £30m signings, the club needs to be very careful that they aren’t seen to be taking the piss out of the players who got us here. Remember we may need players to get us back here in 26/27 - and that becomes harder to do in a sensible way if we have a reputation for not looking after the players who take that job on.

I imagine they appreciate this, but it's a fair point.

That said, both players were I think offered contracts quite a while ago, contracts which would have certainly included a significant promotion rise. Players hedging their bets is fine by me, but there are always two parties in the dance.

No-one knows the numbers for any player, whatever is publicly stated. Everyone wants as much as they can get, whatever their job. But an employer in any circumstances can only wait so long, and football is a highly unusual business.

I'd certainly want both players to stay. And then get Riggy signed up!

Can't believe Nestory Irankunda signed for Watford. We wanted him when he was playing back in Oz, but Bayern jumped. Hes only 19.
Udinese involved at all?

They've just signed some young Danish striker for good money and hes been immediately loaned to Watford. Some really shady joint ownership deals there. Granada were always involved too, think they may have been sold by the Pozzo's now though.

According to the Resto del Carlino, Sunderland would have offered Bologna a figure around 16-17 plus bonuses for Lucumi. A rating considered too low by management.

In addition, in these days Bologna has offered the renewal to the player precisely to keep the sirens out of the market. In the event of a negative result, it is not excluded that the felsineo club can deal from 25 million and up.
£52 million for him and Diakite DO IT FLO
