Disagree. Think hes the best no9 in Europe if not world and could play anywhere
Lewandowski I think is a better number 9 personally. I also think Haland is better. I like Kane but dont think he is at that level.

Haaland is a different kind of player, but he’s going to be better. As an out and out striker Kane is marginally better right now I’d say.

Lewandowski is a pure finisher but doesn’t do the work Kane does.

Let’s be honest, all 3 are pretty ****ing tasty.

Kane would score anywhere.

He’d be 50 a season in France, he’d break records at City.

That said, he’s struggle to score as many as he does for Spurs at say United or Chelsea, where the team would be less setup around his game.

He’s a superb footballer, not just a goal scorer. I can understand Spurs digging in as he is is absolutely irreplaceable. There isn’t another striker like him.

You could buy a Lewandowski or an Mbappe or whatever they might get the goals but they’d not bring half as much as he does to Spurs.

They look half decent under Nuno, but how they won Sunday I will never know.

Funny, I see the exact opposite mate. I thought Utd would be the perfect fit the way they play. I couldn't see him at city with all that pfaffing around before the ball gets played forward. Basically a more direct Utd would benefit him, IMO.

The sheer amount of chances City make in a game is crazy though. If you think Jesus, who is really average gets a decent number of goals and his positional sense is appealing, Kane would nag hatfuls.

In the last two months, three different people have messaged me on twitter to pick me up on stuff I've said on here that they've not liked, or asked me to delete posts I've made on here where I've had an opinion they've not liked.

None of it has been that major. And I'm not being secretive about who I am - but frankly I can't be doing with that noise so have made myself slightly more anonymous!!!

who does that? I hope you name them to the mods. Folk need to keep it on here via the forum or pm, or just **** right off

Any whispers of deals in the pipeline? Surely we're in for another 2 or 3?

I'd say we're juggling half a dozen balls, at the moment, of which I'd feel confident at least two will come off.

Some of them are awaiting decisions from the player, like the ex-Everton keeper who apparently Pickford recommended, Jack McIntyre.

Plus Jebbison who'll probably move on the last day.

Others are dependent on our own players leaving, Grigg and Wright, but they're so up in the air that anything could happen.

There's also the possibility, of course, of a surprise and someone coming in as yet not mentioned ...

... I've been told, yet again, we're looking at a player from France but I've not seen anything whatsoever to back that up ...

... I think the lad's winding me up but I'd have thought he has better things to do <laugh>

The possibility of going to Everton increases the likelyhood of him coming here. Are we still after

There was a suggestion the club wanted to get all of our season's business done in this window so it's less disruptive.

If that's the case I think we'd still take Jebbison but there's Broadhead to consider now as well.

If Grigg could be eradicated it would make things clearer.

I'd swap the word eradicate for exterminate :emoticon-0148-yes:
