Personally I wouldn't live anywhere near Blackpool, it's rotten. Not just the town, it's the whole area. It's always in the bottom 10 of worst places to live ...

... Hull is usually in the bottom 3 <laugh>
Me and our lass went for the cancelled game last March just as Covid kicked in, it’s the first time I have been since the early 90’s and I tell you what, I will never go back, it’s dirty, dingy and also very edgy, people just wanting to kick off everywhere, it be needs to be quarantined :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Isn't it strange that after the game last night there hasn't been many rumblings regarding not having any proper full backs in place before the Wigan game........
I’m not sure what your point is, shall we go into the season without them? I thought pre season games meant nothing? All you’ve really achieved is allowing the infantile insults begin again. You know the ones about urine sodden bedsheets and underwear. It. cracks me up every time I see them, I’m actually doubled up with laughter, no seriously if I don’t stop laughing I really will piss myself.
Of course we need full backs,

We did too, we could have cancelled but we had been on the new year weekend too and had a great time. Booked into the dingiest Airbnb, right in the middle. Woke up Sunday morning looked out of the window and saw people in the queue with TVs waiting for the pawn shop to open so they could afford their next fix. Went to the AFC Blackpool (Home of The Mechanics) match though and had a bloody good day.

Its obvious what his point is, and you have alluded to it in your response

No one has denied that we need full backs as well as other quality players to fill the team out but the way some posters were claiming that cos the players hadn't been signed as yet we were gonna get beat in every game. Hopefully last night's game has showed that it might not be the case but using midfielders as full backs should only be a stop gap and fingers crossed they are signed well before next weekend

We were at St. Anne’s last weekend. Popped into Blackpool on the Saturday and you’re right mind, really rough.

We pop over to Lytham St Anne's a couple of times a year for a break, normally stop in St Annes and never go into Blackpool
I could quite happily live in Lytham, shame I can't afford it :emoticon-0102-bigsm

If we get them in it would have been so much better if it had happened sooner, but we dont know the reasons behind any delays, Agents being twats, (Thats their jobs) or players not available, or even our negotiating team telling them we are not paying over the top for your client to play in the best facilities, and the largest crowds in league one.

We’ve just watched what I would say was a pretty good and comforting performance, I like the way we are trying to play, we look decent with the ball, always searching out a forward pass and even Will Grigg scored. We have had a pretty good pre season on the pitch, yet the first thing that he can think of is “ why no moaning from those who want full backs”. In turn that enticed people like you to reference bed wetting even though we actually do need full backs. Christ why can’t people just accept that everyone is different and there is no need for playground insults, it’s embarrassing, not conducive to debating and will only assist in driving posters away. Now whether you think great, they were **** posters anyhow is irrelevant, the RTG influence is here now and I don’t think it’s big nor clever. I have no interest whatsoever in debating today or any day with infantile name calling being thrown around. I’m sure we can discuss the matter in hand like adults
BTW I’m banned from over the road, for providing a mature, senile and quite frankly fully deserved and appropriate response. But then again, you have two choices over the road, fight fire with fire and get reported or report them first, I choose the former. I’m not so sure that incontinence is any way an appropriate reaction to needing full backs.

Just enjoy the game and result. These types of posts began the decline of RTG. Pick up on specific peoples opinions or debates, don’t introduce the same stuff over here, not606 will become a worse place for it.

Rather than perpetuating the argument you might want to post a bit more and start a few threads yourself.

I've noticed it's often those who contribute the least who complain most about the content.

I'm not being rude mate, just saying we generally get the forums we deserve.

Fully agree mate, I just don’t see what relevance it had as I have alluded to above. It was agent provocateurs stuff and some people fell into the trap :emoticon-0105-wink:
