The Brighton rumour emanated from this post on a Brighton fan forum ! This is how all Twitter **** gets totally blown out of proportion and leads mutants into believing such things are happening
 
£3m would be derisory.

I want to believe he's going nowhere but if he's offered big bucks, I guess he will be tempted.

I think it would rip the heart out of most of us were he to go, so I'm hoping Nourry won't allow that to happen.

If it became known that they knew he was going and still used him to market STs, that would be ethically reprehensible and really rather scandalous. Not that they'd ever admit such a thing.

Anyone gutted by Cifuentes apparently going to Brighton…..he’s still 33/1 at the bookies so you can at least make money!

Potter is 5/4 in the real world btw

Nightmare to hear of Dykes injury. Not the start anyone wanted for him.
Hopefully not a long-term injury and he’s back to be a Scottish history maker.
 
I don’t care what player comes or goes as long as we keep Marti. As far as l’m concerned, he can turn water into wine with whoever we have.
He’s a keeper and must stay.
In Marti we trust.

I'd be extremely gutted if Marti went. I think he's too smart to jump too soon, unless he's going to go to an extremely well run club like Brighton, and I don't think that kind of club takes a manager on half a good season in the championship.

I'm willing to bet we get a whole season out of Marti and he'll maybe go and the end of next season.

New CEO needs to be drawing up a shortlist of replacements now in any case. Got the Marti appointment spot on, so who knows, maybe the next one will be just as good.

QPR have made an offer of around £750k to sign MK Dons forward Max Dean.

The 20 year old scored 19 goals in 34 games for the Dons in the last season but it is thought the MK Dons will want in excess of £2M for the striker.

Plenty of Championship clubs have shown interest in the former Leeds man.

Didn’t like the look of him in the playoffs but that’s not a fair sample size.
 
I reckon that Marti only signed a 1-year contract. That's why I think everyone is after him and probably no release clause.
IF I am correct Marti can see how things go until Xmas and when premier clubs and teams in our division start sacking managers he can pick or choose. But hopefully he will sign a new contract with us.
