I imagine the strategies for outgoing/incoming players was precarious due to our relegation battle. Hopefully Plan A is in full swing now and targets will be coming together between the management teams. Get there vacation rest over and get down to it. Would certainly be useful if Eze gets picked up and swells the coffers a little too I’m sure Bob could pass on a little diamond in the rough from Leeds

Where do you get the £3m figure from? We don’t know either the length of his current contract (I suspect it has one year to run and we are trying to tie him in to three years) and whether it has a compensation clause at all. Fact is if he is made an offer from another club and he wants to take it, he will go. You can’t have a manager who doesn’t want to be here. The compensation is a side issue, the club doesn't really have control over this. We can offer him a million a week, but if he doesn’t want to stay there’s no point struggling. If it’s any help, his little video message to renewing ST holders is all ‘see you next season’.

Ok I get it. Well, in terms of what he offers to QPR, the likelihood of us finding a replacement as good and the negative effect on the morale of the squad which clearly loves him if he goes, I’d say he was pretty much priceless to us at the moment. Of course when we lose 5 on the bounce I’d take 10 Capstan non filter and a bottle of Mackesons for him to go.
Hearing rumours on twitter that Cifuentes has signed a 5 year contract with Brighton. Hope they are unfounded rumours and it's not true.
Nothing on Google. Neestrup from FC Copenhagen more likely. And would we have signed up for a pre season friendly with them if they were about to nick our manager? Burnley more likely to go for him, in my opinion.
They better not announce Marti's departure before they have sold all season tickets. Many will decide not to renew. And who do we then pick from once Leicester, Burnley etc have had their go?
Pretty sure Tim Sherwood will be mentioned as always. Thankfully his mate is no longer our DoF. Personally I think Marti will be looking forward to the season ahead with us.
