Ah I've seen the source some person who thinks they're ITK. Some Liverpool fan asked Palmeri his response is class.<laugh>

Tbf IF the rumours that Bologna want the 15 million euros that is being reported, that could be the cue for other teams to match the valuation, and I don't fancy our chances if they do as Ramirez has already said what we have offered him as a yearly wage, so why would they bid if they weren't confident of either outbidding us or attracting him in some other way.

He's said that the attraction of playing for us is that he would be doing just that - playing for us. He'd be a cert in our starting 11, and he doesn't feel he'd get that at other clubs supposedly in for him....if some sources are to be believed anyway.

Believe that it's a direct quote, and yeah...that's definitely our advantage here, and the reason I'm fairly confident that he's ours if the money issues are sorted. He wants to be a fixture on the team sheet to benefit his career development, and while that probably won't strike some the right way (because it sounds ever-so-slightly mercenary), all credit to him for actually recognizing that the path to stardom isn't necessary through joining the squad rotation of the biggest club who'll take you.

And if we get hyper-talented youngsters because Cortese's not only okay with that particular fact of life, but willing to encourage it, so much the better; it's a boon to the club. Worst case, we get players better than we have any business getting, and in two or three years they move on for a fortune, which helps to propel the club ever upward; best case, we get enough of them that it helps the club to build to the point where they don't feel the need to move on.

Linked with Aubameyang, good player really stood out at the African Nations cup but another striker? He can play wide but he is at his best through the middle.

Translated from French

According to a source English Etienne striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is courted by Southampton, back in the Premier League. But the Greens are not sellers.
. A picture of the Roma who just sold Fabio Borini in Liverpool, Southampton makes eyes at Etienne striker Pierre-Emerick (23), whose contract expires in June 2016. Author of sixteen goals this season in the league, international Gabon is one of the priorities of the Saints. But the Greens do not want to hear of any former player Dijon, Lille and Monaco.

@tancredipalmeri:
