Ki has been appaling this season and for that reason he hasn't played and his performances don't justify a place in the starting line up. yes he was worthy of a place in the team, he hasn't showed anything like that form this season and wouldn't be surprised if he was on his toes in the summer and if he performs the way he did last year then I would be no loss, however if the new manager can get out of him what we had last season then I would be happy to keep him, it seems the 3 managers we had this year couldn't.
I thought Ki played " OK" amongst the **** we were playing till he got injured . No body was playing to there potential after Monk switched things up this season Ki was getting into his groove prior to this season .
I would base little from a season when 3 managers had they're wrenches into a plan . Ki , Siggy and Cork bring me a bit of confidence before the first whistle blows for next season . Especially Cork , a very good and focused player he has turned into .

As far as Ki goes then we know if he is played in his right position and the players around him were to play to their potential then we know he can score goals and assist others to score. He has not been right since he was badly injured a few months back. i would certainly not get rid of him....

Wishful thinking in a positive manner .
You should try it , instead of wading through my thoughts and what I mean and say .

If I'm wading I'm at low tide at the mouth of the Tawe. <laugh>

I'm glad you've changed your mind. Chill, Bucko. <ok>

Wow, Roof. You are bloody hard work. Please lighten up. I merely asked (quite civilly) what had changed your mind from predicting relegation or fighting relegation to being hopeful we'll actually do well with these players. It's a fair question but if you'd rather snipe knock yourself out. Jeesh! <doh>

By the way I'm not enthused by Hoilett.

Agreed Nosugar. Why do we keep looking at average players from a lower division? Are they going to improve us? I can't see it.

Connor Roberts played 54 games for Yeovil and picked up five player of the season awards. Could he be part of next season's rebuild?

Because our future is still in our young players and he has gone out on loan to gain experience and physical strength and has obviously succeeded. I'm not suggesting he starts in the first team but certainly may be worth a place on the bench. What is the point of the Academy if we don't develop these youngsters. We don't have infinite finance to spend multi millions on players and I would feel more satisfaction having our own developed players as we used to do in the past. Certainly the aim of achieving Academy one status is to succeed in this.

I was referring to the Hoillet post. Had posted before reading the Roberts post <cheers>
