Kingsley still has work to do and where as I would start him, I am not so sure he will. If it was up to me I would move Taylor on and bring in another young attacking fullback. Then have 2 hungry young player pushing for no.1 spot. Imagine having Kingsley and Ben Davies, both pushing for a starting spot and neither sulking if the other is in, unlike what Taylor will do.
Funnily enough I don't see left back as a serious problem this year with the emergence of Kingsley, now right back needs serious work...an ageing rangel, and naughton not quite there, surely this is a position we need to look at
I agree with you, but they were talking about Kingsley, so the comment was directed at that, as for right back, I think Rangels time is done and we need a new RB. I think Naughton is ok and hasn't really had a chance since Guidolin has come in, so maybe it is a sign he doesn't see him as good enough.
Naughton could be our right back next season with Connor Roberts as young back up. If Naughton is not considered the answer we definitely need to sign one.
I'd like to see a right back come in and for Naughton to be back up and utility guy . Wouldn't mind getting my hands on Valencia from Man U since they chanced him from a winger to a back . Watched him a few times and he's awesome Imo
I would be going for Trippier at spurs, great full back but hasn't broken into spurs side since his move from Burnley, good full back, but Levy probably want 20m for him knowing how he overprices players.
If Routs was a bit taller, I'd convert him into a RB just like Utd did with Valencia as Roof alluded too.
I don't want that utter rubbish within 100 miles of the Liberty next season. I would rather us put Trundle back up front
let me tell you, I would do a better job than that fat Frenchman, even at my age. I wasn't allowed to strike either in my job,
just watching Hull V Derby and Will Hughes and Johnnie Russell look well capable of playing in the PL, Just both are a bit lightweight.
Looks like Jenkins has sent out the word to possible teams wanting Ayew . 15 million takes him away , bit low for my liking . Wouldn't be going anywhere if I was in charge for less than 18 million .
I would not be bothered if Ash were to leave TBH He made quite a few errors during the season and i think that is due to him slowing down a bit. He has been a great servant for us and a good captain but not as good as Martinez or monk imo.....I cant for the life of me understand why Arsenal or Liverpool would want Ash at his age and think it's a load of hogwash myself but if true then we shouldn't hesitate and sell straightaway... As far as looking at lower league players then i dont mind as you can find some really good players there and i hope we leave the french league well alone this time....
