Currently in Lara Beach, Turkey.
Great so far, enjoying the Effes, the wife has been pouring Prosecco down her throat like a lunatic and smiled a few times so I’m sure she’s enjoying herself.
Just got back from a day at Beamish, not busy except for the new fish n chip shop queue, so settled for a nice blonde ale in The Sun Inn

Off to South Wales (Tenby) for a week next Friday. Not able to go abroad this year after all my health problems but fingers crossed will be get next year, on a cruise if possible
We’re away to Anglessey next Friday for a long weekend.

I've pretty much done with foreign travel, probably won't renew my passport now tbh.

I'm now looking forward to remote, rarely visited places in the UK. There are some incredible things to see which aren't promoted because there's no commercial gain.

I'm hoping to walk the length of Hadrians Wall, West to East, this Autumn ...

... it's an incredible part of our history.

Off to West Wittering next week with junior and his two cousins (19&20), camping close to the beach - forecast looks good.

Then got 2 week family holiday end of August in East Devon then Cornwall. We have a dog these days so UK favourable, plus the amount of cancelled flights I’ve had this year with work, I just can’t be dealing with that risk this summer. Need to get some chill time in the bank.

Great stuff fellas. Get the pictures posted when you are there, sounds like we have some stunners to look forward to. :emoticon-0148-yes:

We did the North Coast 500 last October Smug, it took us 12 days with hotels each night along the route. It was an incredible experience and I would highly recommend it for anyone wanting to holiday in the UK.

That sounds great mate, I'll have a look at that.

We did the St Cuthberts Way, 63 miles sleeping wild, and that was exhilarating.

Which hotel you at mate? We stayed in the Titanic on Lara Beach a few years ago. It was class. We are going to Belek this year a bit further up the coast
That’s the one we are in mate, fantastic, can’t fault it ! I wasn’t keen when she booked it but it’s absolutely tremendous. Mind I’m full of Rum & Coke now. Happy days, great seeing the kids enjoying themselves, not a better feeling in the world being surrounded by family and friends work free for a few weeks
