Cheers mate, pleased that's all over and we can get back to the football ...

... these lads must be excited to be coming to Sunderland.

I know people will probably not agree with me but I think we didn't do too badly in the window - could've been better of course but I feel something good is being built at the club. We have players that are very talented and can grow along with the club. Here's hoping we can continue with the good start for the season this afternoon

Won three out of three with Mayenda up front and he's scored two and pressed the **** out of our opposition.

Might be time to give the lad a chance and stop declaring we must have better. It's a chance he has earned.
This, he seems ideally suited to the very energetic press we are playing and as it stands deserves to be given a lot of opportunities. I’ll take our own young player being in the side ahead of paying ludicrous amounts like Birmingham have.

I'm happy with it mate, we had a good team already.

I really didn't like the Mendy situation and the club were right not to buckle ...

... we used to be mugs in the transfer market.

On the morning dog walk feeling like I'm in the video for Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah

Gotta beat these lot today with them having a few centre backs out injured. Apparently they've been playing a RB and CH

I’m neither disappointed or elated with our business this window. What we’ve witnessed is what we should expect.
We were told from day 1 that the club will be self sustaining and this window highlights that. We sell arguably our best player and reinvest bringing in sone young very promising talent that our back room staff can mound into first team assets.
I assume most windows, especially the summer ones, will be like this.

Very happy with the window, these last 4 signings will have a massive say in our fortunes this season and in Wilson Isidor we have a 1 in 3 goals striker. Don't care what other posters think he's came here as a striker and a very experienced one at that
