Clubs know you want a striker, so player that would normally be about 2-5m, for player that doesnt get the minutes, will go for 8-10m as clubs know the buying club is desperate

Well, we’ll soon find out

Isidor could be unbelievable but he’s a risk, as any new signing is. I’d be worried if Mayenda and Rusyn were the only other forward options.

He's pretty versatile. You wouldn't want him starting there every week but RLB has already spoke about him being able to play wide

If we don’t get a striker I’m afraid there’s no defence of Speakman. You can say things change last minute but you need to safeguard against that. Selling Clarke relatively cheaply and not using the money after a good start is indefensible.

But that only matters come 11pm tomorrow. I have confidence / faith / hope, however misguarded, that we get who we need tomorrow.

Roberts is the same player, Isidore an improvement, the problem can only be Mundle.

Sure, as I said, in the post you quoted, I would like another striker, but it's not as desperate as some are making it out to be. That dopamine be hitting good I guess.

Again, I would like another striker.

But yes, so far Mayenda has been excellent, has 2 in 3 and I think looks to be a big improvement on what we had last season. Rusyn a worthy back up and Wilson isidore looks very direct and dangerous, will probably end up our starting number 9.

Worth keep in mind we got into the playoffs playing Gelhardt out of position, we now have two good options and a decent back up.
