I know they'll probably come straight back down, but they're a good club and a big club. They have a very good young manager. I genuinely think it was between them and Southampton and Ipswich were more keen to spend the money. Hindsight might be wonderful if we keep this up mind.

Not sure they'll drop like. I reckon Everton and Southampton will take the bottom 2 places. Palace will be in bother if they lose eze and guehi.

Aouchiche to Saudi/France on loan.
Luis Hemir loan.
Pembele to France on loan.
Zak Johnson League Two loan.
Joe Anderson sold to a League One/Two side.

I think Ba and Ekwah will stay and end up having okay seasons.

I suspect if all this happens, we'll see 3 come in, a fullback, a striker and a number 10. Loans are likely.

Ekwah will go - RLB is not a fan as he doesnt do the running required

AA - will go, sadly
Ba will stay

ekwah and AA will need to be replaced

If we're sending the foreign players out on loan it makes no sense them going abroad. They need to be staying in this country. imo.

I assume those will be loans with an agreement to buy, the other thing is that they're all on long term contracts so they could end up coming back.

League one and two don’t pay much in transfer fees. See Anderson out on loan until his contract runs down or else someone is willing to offer better money and we release him from it.

Ill also add, I was nervous about the game until I saw their team sheet and their fans moaning. I thought there and then that we'd win and I actually thought we'd score more. Especially if we'd played like we did against Sheff Wed.

I was saying to the old beans in the vicinity that we are taking the piss, this is the best we've seen for years. One good man I sat with said he thought Roberts and Jobe had done nothing this season, its weird how others see it, you just have to give them your opinion. No malice.

I've never seen Roberts work so hard off the ball, usually when he loses it, his head drops and he jogs back, yesterday he was like a man possessed to get it back! I don't think Jobe was as good as he was against Sheff Wed but he made things happen and worked hard defensively. Hopefully these 2 as well as the rest of the team keep it up

I would guess Ekwah starts against Pompey in place of the suspended Dan Neil, would be surprised to see him go now that we’ve raised money from Clarke. Possible tho, particularly if Triantis plays as CDM

My very negative Dad has nothing negative to say about on field stuff.

However, he said the club pushed Clarke out for
The money!! Seemingly a point some are trying to portray!
I think I seen you at the match yesterday Marcus. At full time walking between the seats in the East stand towards the South stand. You looked like a man on a mission and passed me before I realised.

Still lots of business to be done. I really want Neil to sign a new deal and that to be announced ASAP. Lots of interest in him, as you would expect.

AA- Will leave.
Benette - Will leave.
Anderson - Will leave.
Rusyn - Very likely
Hemir - Very likely
Pembele - Very Likely

Others in the likely pot but will depend on replacement I would imagine.

This team is wonderful mind, we could have easily been 3-0 up at h/t against Burnley.

I thought Mundle was brilliant, everything I'd hoped/expected. Not Clarke levels, but you don't need Clarke levels. Clarke was truly next level.

Roberts had his best game for a long time, everytime he had the ball he done something with it, if only he'd shoot more often, I can't complain because he's always trying to get us a goal.

Cirkin has shocked me the most this season, I knew he was good and many told me he's pivotal to how we play and I agreed, but he honestly looks like the best left back in the league and someone who could easily go in Jan for 15 million. I'd want more tbh.

Alese and O9 have been outstanding this season too, Alese is like a Rolls Royce, O9 like one of them old cook books our grannies had.

Ballard gonna struggle to get in, Neil has pretty much guaranteed Browne an avenue into the side, thought Neil was class again.

Not to dampen any moods, because I'm so excited an elated, but we need to hold our horses just a tad. Im getting carried away because I do believe this team is capable of winning the league, but I think the next few days of the window could be the difference.
Thought Neil would have learned his lesson from Boro last season and kept his mouth shut
