People desperate to ****ing twist. Had to deactivate twitter to stop me falling out with people. So many of our apparent fans are desperate to criticise the club and give them no credit or latitude at all. It's sickening.

for a player of Clarke’s ability its a low fee simple as that and no getting away from it

if players come in quickly ie a replacement and x2 strikers - there will be no issues

however the argument will be replacements for players rarely happen quickly for us (which the club has to take the blame)

Get these three forwards in and we can move onto my other concern: we’re unhealthily reliant on Cirkin and Hume. The drop off to whichever CB ends up galumphing about out there is ludicrous.

Can't help thinking if we'd kept him this could have been the season to go up. That's the rub, risk the debt (or unhappy player) to gamble on promotion. Glad I don't have to make these decisions. Think the ones singing new deals definitely have more upside though.

I am more than willing to criticise the club when necessary, as you know. But I am not seeing much to criticise here.

As a fanbase we aren't used to selling players because most of the players we've had for the last however many years were unsellable, would people rather that?
Some think that we should sign every player for £50m and every player we sell should be £100m minimum

I'm not sure the fee is that short.

£15m guaranteed. £5m in additions of which we'd expect to get most of them, plus a sell on fee if he progresses again.

Spurs fee rumoured to be 25% but that doesn't mean we can suddenly get 25% more for him.

He's been an incredibly signing by the club and a joy to watch. I think he'll help Ipswich stay up and him and Davis down that wing could be brilliant to watch.

Now let's get that cash reinvested and get Simic, Mendy and Isodor across the line.
My point exactly about the fee

If it’s a 25% sell on fee it could be a smart move because if he moves for 40-80 mil then we would get 10-20 mil extra at a later date.

got to say it does seem low up front. Maybe it’s a clever way to gain us more money over time. 11.25 mil seems nowt in this market tho.

Yeah i do come across bad sometimes and i hold my hands.up to that, but thats me.and i cant change the person i am. However i do feel like i was, just for genuinely feeling concerned about how bad Mayenda was, and im as happy as anyone he proved me wrong.

Ive seen snidey little comments from posters all week on here mocking me. Some that ive known for over 10 years.

This place isnt for me anymore, but i will read still because it is a good place to get information from.
