Shocked at how low the fee is I must admit. Let's be honest if the reported figures are true it's a **** fee!

Gutted he is going he has been class to watch. There was a point in Sunday where he went past about 3 or 4 of their players in a tight space he had no right to be coming away with the ball from and he ended up being fouled to stop him! Stuff like that was as good to watch as his goals.

Gutted it was the last we will see of him playing for SAFC.

For context we are getting about 1 million for Clarke than we did for stewart

Clarke 10-11 million ish
Stewart was 10 million
We got nowhere near 10 for Stewart up front.

We'll end up with 15 for Clarke plus a hefty sell on fee. It's a touch low but it's not a disaster, Philogene went for similar.

The first sale when you are trying to start player trading is always low.

I get the fee is a bit lower than we hoped for but the reaction to losing a player to a club a division above is mental
Huge test now of how they want to do things, they have to use the money to sign a higher quality players than we have been. Massive end to the transfer window for us
Yep, that's the test given the Stewart money seemed to be swallowed up by Lihadji, Pembele and Aiouche :emoticon-0102-bigsm

People desperate to ****ing twist. Had to deactivate twitter to stop me falling out with people. So many of our apparent fans are desperate to criticise the club and give them no credit or latitude at all. It's sickening.

I'm not sure the fee is that short.

£15m guaranteed. £5m in additions of which we'd expect to get most of them, plus a sell on fee if he progresses again.

Spurs fee rumoured to be 25% but that doesn't mean we can suddenly get 25% more for him.

He's been an incredibly signing by the club and a joy to watch. I think he'll help Ipswich stay up and him and Davis down that wing could be brilliant to watch.

Now let's get that cash reinvested and get Simic, Mendy and Isodor across the line.

I am more than willing to criticise the club when necessary, as you know. But I am not seeing much to criticise here.

As a fanbase we aren't used to selling players because most of the players we've had for the last however many years were unsellable, would people rather that?

I do feel like the fee is a touch low, especially with Spurs taking some of it.

However, us inserting sell on is huge. Means at any point in next few years we could get a pretty significant fee coming into the club. For that reason I will be hoping he does well, which is different for me as I normally hope people who leave the club fail:emoticon-0140-rofl:

If you told me in May that Clarke would leave but Jobe, Ballard and Rigg would sign new deals with Neil apparently close to signing one I would've taken it.

We now have a week to spend it, do it properly and we will improve. Over to you Speakers.

Absolutely.
