Portsmouth signing a young CM from Dortmund, Kamara - watched this lad a couple yrs a go n he looked very good. Has all the raw attributes youd want, big powerful lad whose techncially good but had zero aggression when i watched him

Looking forward to seeing how he gets on
They’ve confirmed the signing. Pompey fans seem really excited over him on Twitter

No idea what you are on about, not sure you do either.

You were confusing Russia and Ukraine, then implied it was all about the same because they were in a similar part of the world. A bit like, England, Scotland and Wales are, doesn’t make our domestic leagues anywhere near the same standard.

Pre-war, Russia was a much higher standard, not so sure now but I’d guess the Russian league is still fairing better than poor Ukraine.

Yeah Pre-War Russian PL was alright, don’t think it was ever really great though was it? Just seemed to have a bit of coin in a few teams who splurged on South Americans chasing the bag, just like Shakhtar in Ukraine. Aren’t their teams still banned from European competition anarl?

You’d think it would be of good benefit for a club like Pompey to have a set up with a Dortmund/Bayern to loan in younger lads rather than them playing their second strings. Could have some big talent in the squad for relatively cheap.

I know modern day football has no morals or ethics, but if we give money to the Russians , how does that make us better than the great unwashed up the road with their blood money?.
I would rather give it to Russia than Ukraine any day of the week. In my opinion Russia should be admired for the way they have stood up to Nato encroachment.

Be a benefit for those clubs as well, the standard of the leagues their B teams play in isnt great at all

They need to use the loan market for their better youngsters

What’s a wind up? We’ve signed one forward from that region who was playing out of his skin there and he can’t get a game for us, what is signing a younger striker who hasn’t performed anywhere near as well going to achieve? If we sign Mendy are we going to put a loanee who’s statistically not as good as Rusyn, ahead of Mayenda?
Rusyn isn't even a bad player but he doesn't fit, Isidor is a big strong mobile lad who's played in France, its not the same really. Its like signing Kevin Nisbet or Miovski.

If you go back to when Speakman joined the club and the players in place at the time of his arrival and the value of the squad at that time compared to now you unfortunately have to say it’s so much better NOW. How any real SAFC supporter can say that we haven’t seen a massive improvement during his and KLDs tenure must be on a whole different wavelength to most SAFC supporters . I know one thing for certain is that I would rather be where we are now with the squad we have in place and still progressing rather than the days of the chuckle brothers where all areas of the club were in decline . Some of the posters on here must have very , very short memories or something of a death wish if they would rather wind the clock back to those dark , dark times .
