Sounds like when Gyan came back and none of his kit fit anymore, I think that led to Bruce playing no strikers in a cup game against Brighton. Not much has changed

Jebbinson im slightly unsure on because of his injury record, he is a handful when fit tho and has pace to stretch a game for us
Id still be leaning towards lankshear as a loan target, feel spurs wouldnt expect him to play every week but he could def contribute for us
Stats are very deceiving when it comes to him. If you watch him play it’s clear to see he’s quite decent. Good on the ball, powerful, Pacey. Been unfortunate with his two big injuries.
Sheff Utd wanted to keep him but he left and Bournemouth snapped him up as their “long term solanke replacement”. He’s been playing in pre season for them. Many champ clubs will want him on loan too. Needs a proper run to show his talent. Also his build fits what we are after perfectly id say. I’ve always liked him personally
If we got Mendy over the line eventually, fair enough, but they wanted one in before the first game, so really disappointing. I'd take Jebbison on loan, fitness pending. Guessing it'll be him or Lankshear.

Quiet summer so far for Liverpool with no new signings. Really interesting to see how they do without Klopp and Salah/Van Dijk getting on a bit now.

Sunderland miss out on Jebbison
HITC has previously confirmed a host of clubs are chasing Jebbison, but one team who have missed out on him is Sunderland.
Sources have confirmed to HITC that following talks with almost half of the Championship, a few have been ruled out and one of those is Sunderland.
Sunderland were one of the teams looking to land Jebbison initially from Sheffield United and then again from Bournemouth, but HITC is told that he will not be heading to Wearside.

No surprise. They'll want him starting 30+ games, if things go to plan here that won't happen at SAFC.
I personally really rate the lad but I do get everyone’s points. Very worried about the Mendy deal not materialising but here’s hoping
I like him but no point loaning him in to sit on the bench and block Mayenda.
Would've been a great permanent signing earlier this summer though.
