Theres interest in clubs taking him on loan with a view to a perm deal, not sure if itll happen but if the club sign 2 strikers (which they want) then i think he will be away
Its ashame as he looked so promising in the highlights I've seen previously but as you said just hasnt settled at all
Hard to judge Scarlett’s loan at Ipswich given he didn’t get a start and was trying to break into a team doing extremely well. I’m not saying that means he’s any good but you’re going to see a lot of ‘he didn’t score in all those games for Ipswich’ over the next few days when those appearances were about 15 minutes long each.
Quite possibly although it still seems like a waste of a loan, there must be more suitable strikers who can lead the line available somewhere
A 20 year old who hasn’t played a great deal of first team football - that’s my problem with it, nothing to do with the Ipswich loan at all.

Not if we’re also signing a senior striker. Versatility and ability to play in a few positions gets him more minutes. Indeed if I were spurs I wouldn’t be keen on loaning us Lankshear if we’re clear about getting a senior number 9. He’d rarely play.
I've seen this mentioned a lot whilst also ignoring the fact that a) centre forward is the hardest position to fill and b) we are using a much smaller budget that most in this league.
We also signed Stewart and Simms on Speakman's watch so not sure what happened to his "blind spot" on those occasions.
The only way the scarlett deal would make sense is if it's the type of deal we got cirkin or Ekwah, low to no fee and sell ons, and the still it would be dependant on a senior coming in

Just can’t see us carrying 4 strikers while we only play with 1 up top. If we bring in two, one of Rusyn or Mayenda needs to go out. The minutes just won’t be there.
