Growing to love this Reg lad already me.
Look forward to quotes from him, every time.
He proper gets the game.

That's my thoughts as well, he's had the big move and it didn't work out.I’m not sure Clarke goes.
Zero signs of a lad desperate to be out the door. He looks proper tight with the other players, running to the crowd and conducting them to sing his chant, ****ing love to see it.
The lad likes it here.
I think he loves it here but if someone offers to double or even treble your wages its hard to say no.
I personally would want to keep Mayenda here and not send him on loan even if we sign two strikers. I think he’d benefit more from being here and getting the odd game in the cups or off the bench. The opposite for Hemir who needs to go and play games.
I quite like the sound of Lankshear as a loan option as long as we sign an experienced striker. I also think Jebbison would be good for our style. Runs the channels really well and presses well. Not the most composed finisher but not bad. Tom Cannon is still my preferred loan option, if we could get him and keep him for I’d be confident we would be serious play off contenders.
I’m in a similar situation at work, not double or treble, but an extra £8k or so for doing what I do now! I love the team I’m in, great gaffer and lads and lasses, but money talks!I think he loves it here but if someone offers to double or even treble your wages its hard to say no.

Mind, I’ve just taken a (tiny) pay cut to work for a company I prefer the setup and direction of.
Can go both ways, more so in sport where the money they make is so crazy.
Hope it goes well for you mate.

Another way of looking at it was that it was a good save from their keeper. I though it was going in at first, didn’t realise that that the keeper managed to get a toe to it. We’d have been applauding Patterson if he’d did that.If we dissect the ‘miss’ for Mayenda, there’s a few ways of looking at it.
1) it’s a great chance and he had options to take a touch, or hit right footed across the keeper.
2) it’s a half chance cos it comes to him half step and he has to adjust.
3) he deliberately goes near post which is footballing brain assuming keeper will cover the goal and it’s a great save (this is my take)
4) He could let it run across him and he likely gets taken out for a pen, or has a roll in far corner.
Now, that’s a lot of options for a young lad unexpectedly thrust into a big game opening day. If he scores we all saying ‘was a bit raw but he was getting shots of all day and has scored’.
The margins for the lad were so small. I want to see him kept until at least the deadline before we consider a loan. Yesterday will have brought him on a load.

Coburn who left us under SD and CM.
My ex boss who's Boro always said they need better than him to kick on.
My skim reading is not as good as it used to beSee scenario 3 mate. Was a very good save. I was up I thought he’d scored.
Glad I wasn’t alone in that!!!See scenario 3 mate. Was a very good save. I was up I thought he’d scored.
From some of our fanbase you aren’t allowed to say it was a good save, only slagging off mayenda is allowed.Another way of looking at it was that it was a good save from their keeper.
