Honestly, since the new regime, I'm struggling to think of one they've got wrong, even the young lads who haven't hit the ground running have plenty of time to become a success.

Edit:: Maybe some of the loans.

We signed 22 players in 2 windows (not this current one) excluding loans and only 4 of them are first team regulars. They’ve got a FEW bang on that have turned out to be very good signings and ones that will more than make up financially for the ones who’ve done nothing yet. That’s a lot of players who plenty of time to become successful but how long do we wait? How long is it of a detriment to our squad? We aren’t Chelsea we don’t have billions of pounds to throw at kids wages then forget about them for years.

Has a good record when played up front but that’s in the French national division and the Belgian second division.

has a very poor record in the French second division but was played more on the wing and was younger.

not sure on it

Brum aren't planning to languish in that league for a few seasons. It could go either way to be fair but you couldn't accuse them of not putting the backing in to get promoted!

would be a second choice type for me I think - Mendy and This lad coming in together

Watched n done reports on this lad, def a decent player but had a few concerns that would be heighten at championship level

His hold up play is poor and he was really shocking pressing, totally lacks any aggresion or desire to win the ball back when pressing. He has to improve with his back to goal, struggles to know where the defenders are n doesnt really offer a pace in to feet

He has good close control, his movement in the box is good, he has explosive pace and his finishing was good - shoot 1st time n with both feet. He was good at beating his opponent in 1vs1, he can go either way to beat his man and showed good balance

He was pretty good in the air, has a good leap on him

Wouldnt be disappointed if we signed him but i dont think he would be a stand out at championship level

He has lost his way a bit as was a french u20 international earlier in his career

Might have developed as a centre forward since his ligue 2 days. Has had a couple good scoring seasons but not a lot of difficult competition. Is a little older now

We do have good scouts tho, theyve brought in plenty of quality. Have they got transfers wrong, of course they have but tell me a team that hasnt got ones wrong?

I really wish scouting was as easy as you are making out

I’m not saying we don’t have good scouts? I’m saying that we employ these people to find players that give the club the best chance of bringing in players to fit our system so the argument that we don’t want another Will Grigg is contradicting the work those scouts are putting in.

Pembele, Bennette, Rusyn, Triantus, Bishop, Dack, Burstow, Styles all been pretty poor additions to varying degrees imo.

I think when the players brought in are in the 18-21 bracket, and most are, you have to reasonable curb the expectation in the understanding that they are not expected to be first team regulars yet, players like Ba, who has racked up almost 70 league games already should be considered a huge success. £900,000 and still only 21, unreal scouting and transfer nous.

Flip side; almost all of them looked half decent and had logic behind them.

Pembele PSG heritage, Jewi we all liked look of, Rusyn we were screaming to get done, Burstow was rated, Styles Hungary international actually thought he had a bit.

Depends how you look at it. A few haven’t worked out but were they bad signings at pick up time? Mainly no.

Yeah im not sure the fit is right

Theres a young serbia striker that i really like called Mihailo Ivanovic who id be looking at as a back up striker. Very talented lad and has the physicality we would want in a striker

Only saw Kaba when at Cardiff n he looked a handful, id rather him than Koyalipou
