Re this Mendy link. I am trying to get a handle on the strength of Ligue 2. His record looks good but does it compare with the championship in terms of quality does anyone know. My first thought is it doesnt, probably between league 1 and championship level?
From my time there that sounds about right, although I'd say they tend to play 'better football' imo and not L1 thuggery and gamesmanship.
