Also people saying we couldn't replace him for £10m. Of course we could. We're in the championship. Any new right back doesn't need to be as good as Trai Hume. They just need to be good enough to be part of a promotion winning team. And you can definitely get good right backs for under £4m let alone £10m.
 
I'd be holding out for 12 but I'm greedy and probably not that realistic.

Would represent a massive profit for the club and a big success story for Speakman if he can get Pembele or Huggins on track.

Hume is 22, and is contracted till 2027 with an option of a further year (so till 2028 for negotiation purposes), and he was one of our most consistent defenders last season.

I’d say £12m would be quite fair.

Let’s not forget we got £10m for Stewart who was in his last year of deal and was/is injured.

Knowing what's a fair price for a player is difficult, mind. Things move on (and up) so quickly.

62 million for an 18 year old. Blimey.

All I know about him is he's good on FM. But thats a lot of money and pressure on a young lad.
