Imagine a home grown midfield of Henderson, Neil and Rigg
Not a chance of Henderson coming back, club got badly burned by Defoe in bringing favourite sons back. I think the only one we would possibly go for now is Rosco. And that’s dependant on him not getting games at Southampton.
Want nothing to do with him personallyI'm not expecting Henderson to return, but if his ex teammates think he'll play for us before he retires it needs to be this coming season.
I think if he’s fit Stewart’s good enough for the prem, if he’s not I don’t want himNot a chance of Henderson coming back, club got badly burned by Defoe in bringing favourite sons back. I feel for the lad but he's an injury waiting to happen.I think if he’s fit Stewart’s good enough for the prem, if he’s not I don’t want him
I’d take him on loan with potential permanent deal if fitness proven.I feel for the lad but he's an injury waiting to happen.
Hope he sets the Prem alight but there's a big BUT in there as his last injury was such a biggy, I think IF he gets back playing can be mentally give 100% knowing he might be a stretch away from it recurring.
I wouldn't entertain him coming back here.
Fishpaste utterly stirring **** with a doom mongering article about Southampton going for Dan Neil that got about as much substance to it as a Kardashian botox party.
CorrectHe actually suggested his presence in Saudi would help things.
While also saying he wouldn't try to change their views as it was disrespectful to their religion.
It's just cringe as ****. He acted like a ****ing weasel.
I Get that but is welcoming Henderson back any worse than buying fuel for your car or purchasing anything that has used the oil from Arab nations. We can all sit on the high horse and condemn but the truth is almost all of us will have purchased items or fuel which has given these nations wealth .I just that that welcoming Henderson back to the club would be loosely hand in hand with endorsing football clubs being taking over by Saudi Arabia.
I hope at least another club gets involved and there ends up being a bidding war for Clarke. More cash for us and the transfer might get sorted out quicker.

Everything really is about perspective. Hendo went for money and TBH there are a lot of people from the UK work in the middle East and most go for the tax free money he is no different just a much higher profile.
I also heard he wanted to come back to Sunderland last year but chose Ajax as it meant he would be out of the country and not liable for the taxes on the money earned in Saudi (don't know if that is true but does make sense).
Fingers crossed. We know he’s gone, let’s just get the best deal possible…I hope at least another club gets involved and there ends up being a bidding war for Clarke. More cash for us and the transfer might get sorted out quicker.
Fishpaste's articles are usually just the flip of a coin.Fishpaste utterly stirring **** with a doom mongering article about Southampton going for Dan Neil that got about as much substance to it as a Kardashian botox party.
You're right....every time we go shopping to M&S or stay in a London Hotel, buy fuel for our cars, we put money in the Saudi pockets.....there's no escape.....and the sooner the hypocrites amongst us recognise it,the better.
