I know its been doom n gloom this season but def fixable

The club i scout for, lost our director of football, manager (really good manager who had done great things with the club), chief scout (he left during the season) and we lost 2 of our best players last summer (lost another quality player in January)

Fans and media etc were predicting us to have a difficult season

Yet we got our managerial appointment right in the summer and this season we have guaranteed european football this season.

It shows that getting 1 appointment right is massive for a club - we can def do that this summer and from everything I've heard from contacts it seems like its going to be an exciting summer
Don't know if you've ever revealed who the team is however I've got a feeling I may have worked it out

Our squad is proper huge, we talking about new signings and yet we are overencumbered with players who need to be playing, not sitting in our reserves.

There's a few players due to leave, Clarke, Matete from the main squad. I'd argue we need to find a club for Ba, his development hangs on playing week in week out.

Massive question marks over centre midfield, we have Neil, Ekwah, Rigg and Jobe amongst others yet we still lack a type of midfielder.

People still don't know Jobe's best position, I'm hoping he's going to improve physically in the summer.

Roberts, lot of people really sick of him now, which I understand, but the switch has well and truly been flicked and some are wanting him out, which seems mental. The lad is missing Diallo massively he's also suffered from injuries and had a child. It's been a funny year for the lad. Mightve known this would happen when he signed a new deal.
I reckon if we got Willock for right or left then loaning Ba out and letting those two fight it out could be hugely beneficial to the team next season.

Quite a few likely to go. I doubt very much that Bass, Anderson, Matete, Evans, Embleton or Dack will be here. Burstow goes back. Clarke will be sold. There may well be three or four loans out of lads like Mayenda, Triantis, Bennette and Hemir. That’s pretty much a full team.
The squad is only really big because it includes a lot of youngsters that at other clubs wouldn’t be considered first team players.
I think we absolutely should focus on getting three definite first team improvements at LW assuming Clarke goes, CDM and centre forward then look at an experienced keeper to compete and another CF. I think that would make a huge difference

I reckon we've got so many players I forget about at least one or two when I think of our squad.

I think in terms of first team we will sell 1 or 2 but in reality not much more than that. Previous windows when all fans were panicking proved we are a club building and not selling I do not expect that to change.

We need to think about which players we can profit on we sell. Three of those for me would be Patto Roberts and Ekwah. We’ll probably lose Clarke because of his contract situation but I’d be offloading the likes of those three to try and keep the likes of Clarke and Neil. If for example we keep them, we have some championship experience and some quality and can possibly add some of what we’re missing - a right sided player who can score, a keeper with better distribution and feet, a defensive midfielder who can read the game.

Can't argue with sacrificing those three if it means keeping Neil, Ballard and Clarke.

Does anyone else think that Jobe could become the replacement, eventually, for Cory Evans ?

He’s good at closing passing lines, tackles well and cleanly, he’s tall for heading duels, has the ability to get out of tight situations and uses the ball well.

l know it is still very early in his developement but it a thought that has keeps popping into mind lately. KTF

Absolutely not. Get him as high up the pitch as possible, not CDM.

No mate not at all

As Noggie says, it's very early in his development, but I think Jobe will eventually be an 8 or a 9. From what I've seen of him, he doesn't look comfortable as a 6 or a 10.

That's the trouble with Speakman recruitment the last 3 windows. Overloaded us in some areas and left us woefully short in specific areas.
