just a gut feeling but I don’t think that’s happening. Think Roker Report jumped the gun.
Forgot it’s the away kit launch too actually so I can’t see it being Friday unless mendy stands modelling it at the store all day :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Roker report weren’t the only ones to say it, Di Canio’s Knees on RTG who gets info (RLB and the strips) has said it’s done as well as another lad and Roker Report re the medical.

Tbf to RR they’ve said he’s having a medical and nothing else.

I think it is clear as day Neil is a perfect 6. I think he right out of the Rodri mould. Pushing him furtner forward limits his ability to control the whole game which is what he does time and again.

As for Rigg, he is from a different footballing planet to some in our squad. It isnt the fact he is from our academy, but that he has talent and ability to burn. Ba, Adil, Ekwah, all someway behind him. He is second name in our misfield after Neil.

The fact for me is, even though he was only 16 years old last season, he didn't look out of place on the pitch and when he did come on when we were struggling in the second half of the season, he put players older than him to shame by putting in the hard yards

Re Mendy the club were pretty quick to distance themselves from the story when Mendy spoke. They haven't distanced themselves or denied this. I think he'll sign in the next couple of days

Big “if” but…

if we have Clarke/mundle and roberts/poveda as options on either flank, and jobe/aouchiche as options at number 10, where does that leave Ba and Watson?

Watson will probably go out on loan, Ba still has a part to play imo - he can play a few positions and its a long long season so he will still get plenty of chances

Looks very happy the lad. One thing we have had a knack of doing over the last few years is finding those players who are a bit lost! Want a club and a club that will love them. This lad is already buzzing from that, imagine if he gets on the pitch and does things to get the fans love!
