I know it’s been said plenty over the last few weeks and months but I really do hope Clarke is replaced properly when he does eventually leave.

Picking up on the Jobe conversation. I predict we will see a wholly dominant midfielder this season. Running power, can recieve it anywhere, carrier, good around the box. I think he will be a mainstay and by next summer we will be talking £40m. The lad looks like he has grown again and after last year I excpect to see a mentally dominant player. As it stands Neil, Rigg, Jobe are the ones with Browne having to force his way in somehow. I like Browne, but he isnt walking straight in without earning it for me. Training is where you earn that shirt, and I believe those 3 train like it as a cup final every day. Lets see. Nice having options in the engine room.

On Jack Clarke. Told Ipswich interest is very much genuine. Southampton also keen. Sunderland want at least £25million.

Also told Tottenham's sell-on fee is just 25 per cent and not 40, though that seems to be a contentious number depending on who you speak to.

Khazri free kick game wasn’t it? Remember thinking his name was ridiculous at the time, never thought it’d have to hear it on a regular basis :emoticon-0102-bigsm
Yep, won 2-1. I missed our opener after squeezing an extra pint in over the town. Good atmosphere that day, we were getting harder to beat under Allardyce around that time.

I’d be happy with the £25m Copley is reporting. Especially if it’s in the next week and allows us to spend some of that money on both a replacement and a striker
If the 25% sell on is correct it would leave us with £18.75m, more than enough to replace, improve the side and bank some cash for other purposes. Good business if it happens
