Same. The thought of O’nien and trying to bed another CB in alongside him to learn off is frightening. Ballard is captain material imo and only getting better. Clarke is a one trick pony who will get found in the PL.
Not sure why you say it's frightening, O'Nien is a very good championship CB. Clarke is far more than a one trick pony

You make a valid point, caveat on that is the frequency at which our forecasted injury recovery periods at prognosis are so different from the actual period. If we could be reasonably certain that Ballard would only be out 6 weeks it would negate the need to bring another lad in for his position.

Problem is at the minute due to Seelt's injury and Alese being repeatedly rushed back from injury to play before he was ready, its a valid argument as to whether we should be looking for reinforcements at CB, preferably a starter to go in alongside Ballard.

There is still plenty of time left in the window, to make a better call when the injury becomes clearer.

We just need to stop rushing people back

He’s just not though but we’ll start another debate on the matter because it ends up dragging on over every thread :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Just my opinion mate seen him ineffective plenty of times simply by showing him onto his left and not letting him cut inside. As I said earlier the gulf between the two divisions is huge - playing against the ageing legs of the likes of Tommy Smith, Ryan Leonard and Joe Edwards is a far cry from the standard in the prem.

Ekwah is a weird one for me. I don't think it's outrageous to say that he has arguably the highest ceiling of anyone in our squad, has all the raw attributes that top clubs want in midfielders especially the ball carrying but he just doesn't put it all together often enough to make up for his deficiencies throughout a very hard 46 game season. Thought he would be the victim of Browne arriving as well.

He'll be good in Italy though, will suit him to a T.
