Would like to see us go for Cannon, was barely given a chance at Leicester last season and will likely get even less time this season. Surely they'd be open to letting him go either loan or permanent.
Does he have an injury ? Thought I’d read something

We need to move into the next bracket of quality. Not the 700k-1m types. We have signed too many of thesez especially in forward positions.

The squad is bloated with youth potential. Some didn't do well last year whilst on loan or on our bench / under 21s. Rather we limited the signings this year, but as I said, move up to the next bracket. Guaranteed starters for us who are ready now.
I honestly think we could be looking at strikers who have scored abroad and got senior games behind them. I know I keep mentioning him but that Lauritsen is meant to be available for 5-6m euros

Sorry should have explained. That he can play currently but has a problem with passing medicals and is a massive risk. Can’t remember where I read it but sure I did. So if so loan yes but sign no.
Ah right. Quick Google and it appears he had a stress fracture in his back when they signed him.

There's value out there for money that isn't insane.

He got off to a slow start, but look how good Latte Lath looked for Boro in those final 15 games or so. Cost them £5m which is pennies in todays game, they'd certainly make a good profit if they were to sell him on.

Wasn't as if he'd been prolific before going to Boro either. Have to get creative when it comes to strikers and go for one that fits, not one who has a good record but may not fit.

Surely striker wise Jay Stansfield is still on the radar.

Did well in a relegated side. Be surprised if given the chase we put in he wasn’t still listed somewhere.

If it's a data driven approach, surely the data still indicates him as one to sign.

Get Neil and Ballard signed by the weekend, in an ideal world Norwood too but sounds like that one isn't ready yet, hopefully head isn't being turned.

Anyone else still buzzing about the Rigg news yesterday?

I've mentioned it before but what really pleases me about him signing is that the lad clearly has a good head on his shoulders and it already appears that he will be a player that does the right things, the extra training etc... to advance his career and won't all but retire at the first million in the bank!

If rumours are true he knocked back nearly 5 times as much from Man Utd it says a lot (think I've read he is on about 7k a week here and was offered 35k to go there?)

Says a lot about the club at the minute aswell that we are so attractive a proposition for him to advance as a player that money was secondary.
