I think recent managers we have had would disagree with you here, he's a more than capable defender but because he was bought as a mdifielder don't think a lot of our fans can see that

God forgot about Hjelde, I really hope he makes improvements this season.

Another one who would work better in a back 3 system as a wing back. Think on of him or Cirkin with Pembele on the other side would actually be very good

If you could sign a 28 year old Danny Batth then I'd be happy with that. Ideally we need someone really commanding with a bit of the ****housery requited at this level

Or just sign a CB who’s good on the ball whilst not being a total liability defensively?

Yep could see that, shame Cirkin can't stay fit like.

I'd imagine if we wanted to replace O9 we would be looking for a good ball playing defender as that is what O9 brings

Just my opinion. If we always followed the managers then would be a boring conversation. He is ok but I definitely feel we can upgrade in that position.
