Summer '24 transfer window

I want someone better than 09 at centre back. Need a. Out and out centre half. Ballard would look even better for it. He has to cover 09 so much due his lack of positional understanding.

 

Also true. Alese is good but not sure I would fancy him in a back 2. Back 3 definitely.

 

I think recent managers we have had would disagree with you here, he's a more than capable defender but because he was bought as a mdifielder don't think a lot of our fans can see that

 

It's all speculation really we don't have a clue what system he is going to play and which players he will like yet

 

God forgot about Hjelde, I really hope he makes improvements this season.

 

He needs to, 2 million for him was a joke.

We've still got a couple of days to make Styles permanent as well

Another one who would work better in a back 3 system as a wing back. Think on of him or Cirkin with Pembele on the other side would actually be very good

 

If you could sign a 28 year old Danny Batth then I'd be happy with that. Ideally we need someone really commanding with a bit of the ****housery requited at this level

 

Or just sign a CB who’s good on the ball whilst not being a total liability defensively?

Except he isn't, underlying data shows he's a top end defender as well as ball progressor

 

I'd imagine if we wanted to replace O9 we would be looking for a good ball playing defender as that is what O9 brings

Interesting Willock hasn't yet signed a new deal at QPR, wonder whats happening there.

 

Just my opinion. If we always followed the managers then would be a boring conversation. He is ok but I definitely feel we can upgrade in that position.

 

Hoping he has a good year and is back to full health. Had some horrendous luck. Seems to have spent the full summer training on holiday going to wellness retreats and such.

 

Wants a rendezvous with Régis instead.
