Meh, it's risk vs reward. He might not look so good in the Prem and maybe his value actually drops a bit. It will be lower by default just by virtue of the fact he'll have one less year on his contract. It's definitely possible that arrangement would result in us getting more money than we would if we kept him another year, not less

If I was Chris Rigg, I would start learning Spanish right now.

He will go to the very top IMO.

David Fofana (linked here) is off to AEK Athens on loan

It’ll cost them £20m if they want him permanently next summer

Rigg appears to have a very mature head on his shoulders and i think they will do right by the club in the same way jude bellingham did at brum. Reckon he might well sign a new deal next year and then go for big money the year after - but this will depend on what league we are in of course. A season in the prem for him with us and he will have every major club in Europe after him - a proper bidding war will ensue.

I thought we might start getting bits and pieces released from the club now that the internationals are over. We still haven’t had the Aleksic or Mepham interviews, which have been filmed/recorded, or anything at all on/from Ahmed Abdoullahi.

Maybe once tonight’s game is out the way we’ll get more.
