This Divin Mubama has a lot of potential like, and seems to be streets ahead of the likes of Hemir and Mayenda too. I think he has a high chance of performing here. He got 26 goals in all comps last season and some of his goals in these videos (including two hat-tricks and a goal against spurs and a goal in the UEFA conference league) look very promising.
He’s just not one I’ll be getting excited over, especially if he’s brought in before any other forward. Bang on about his goals all you like but very few are whilst playing proper senior football. Get the feeling some of our support would be delighted with ANY signing.

Out of curiosity, who would you want to sign?

I wouldn't want him to be our main signing upfront that's for sure, but having him as backup to a more experienced striker for him to learn off of would be great, there's a reason west ham wanted to keep him

Theres also supporters who only seem to want any experienced players

I wouldnt want this lad to be the main striker and ive not been convinced by him at senior level - he does have the movement n pace youd want in a forward tho

We shouldnt go away from signing young players because of a bad season, we just need to make sure we sign more championship ready players (whether thats younger lads or whether its experienced players)

Def dont want us to sign any player tho

Tough one but I’d be going all out for Stansfield. It looks like Fulham want to keep him for next season though which isn’t a surprise.

I like Hardie at Plymouth, he’d cost a fair whack I presume.

The lad Cullen at Swansea is decent too I think. Certainly better than what we have and wouldn’t cost too much.

I like all of these, Cornick at Bristol city is a good one too and stalling over a contract there, I’d add cannon to the list aswell can’t see him being a starter in the prem

Is Cullen not what people have been complaining about in terms of being a forward that's not really a striker or a winger though?

Stansfield no chance, the lad rejected us last summer.

Plenty of experience but he hardly scores. 2 goals in 39 league appearances last season, although most were off the bench.

I get that but he’s been starting up top for Swansea most weeks, especially recently. 45 league appearances this season. 7 goals, 5 assists.

I don’t think he’s great btw, just a better option than what we have currently. I wouldn’t be too comfortable if he was starting for us most weeks.

Decent forward and at 22, would have plenty of interest. Took his goal very well at West Ham in the FA Cup last season.

I'd be going all out for Stansfield personally. Ideally on a permanent once we've sold Clarke, which I hope happens soon.

That’s it for me. A good chunk of the Clarke money spent on a proper centre forward, who we know can come in and do the business.

This is the point i'm trying to make, people dig the recruitment team for not being able to replace Stewart yet when asked who they would sign people mention similar players to what we have signed or players we have attempted to sign. We were linked with Stansfield last summer and people were complaining, we were linked with Cullen I think it was last year some time and people were complaining.

These experienced, proven, realistic striker signings just don't really exist so the club have to get creative and attempt to sign players, such as Cullen, who are maybe undervalued or misused at their current club. Like Stewart who played out wide a lot for Ross County.

Just seen that Leeds are now not as ****ed as they were as Red Bull are pumping a lot of money into them. Interesting one.

Fulham have said they want to keep him and the lad himself turned us down last summer due to location.

Re the first point - everyone has a price.

Re the second point - we don't know that for sure, do we? And even then, it was for a loan. If offered it permanently it might change his mind.

Just devils advocate
