Mepham is a serious signing and it's going to be met with anger
Think he is staying to cover the injury to the lad from Chelsea.
If we dont get an experienced striker in, the fans will go bananas and rightly so.
Totally mate, it’s been a great window so far and he’s a quality signing, but that won’t matter for many if a striker doesn’t come in.
Yeah it will. Right or wrong mate, like you say, but everyone was well away that this window would be judged on a striker. That remains the case.

nope people know we have won 3 out of 3 and can see with the right investment that we could have a chance this season….that’s why they are frustrated with what feels like, at the minute, a poor window and a massively missed opportunity.
This lot in charge are getting an awful lot right but they seem live making things more difficult than it needs to be with their inflexibility or perhaps blind spots with key elements that need to be addressed.
yea there is still time and I hope they get it right but forgive me for have some nervousness around their ability to deliver what we really need
Can we please differentiate between those concerned that no new forwards are linked in the press (as 99% of signings would be this close to the window closing) ; versus people “attacking the club”.
