Sam McCallum has been released by Norwich. A young, attacking left back with Championship experience.Although he wouldn’t be a massively exciting signing he could add some much needed balance and competition for Cirkin at left back.
I personally see Alese as a more natural centre half and, if it is Still as the new Head Coach, he likes attacking full backs who overlap and create width.
If we were signing a left back who gets forward a lot and provides a lot of assists I'd like Harrison Burrows from Peterborough.

Saw this on nufc page.
Don’t know if it’s been posted here before.
They seem to think it may happen.
It was from 5 days ago.

Starts:

TBR Football is reporting that [HASHTAG]#nufc[/HASHTAG] remain hopeful of winning the long battle to land Sunderland's Chris Rigg.

The 16 year old who plays for Sunderland currently is a well known Geordie and Newcastle united fan.

Could we be seeing this summer someone make the jump to their huge rivals?!

NUFC and SAFC fans how would you feel about the potential transfer?

Ends.

I can’t see it this year but it won’t be long before he moves to a premier league club, unless we can match his ambitions.
If he had a couple of good years here and they paid decent money for him at a later stage, I’d wish him well, as long as he’d maintained his professionalism throughout. Hopefully he would never win any silverware etc at the mags though.

Caden Kelly needs to be going to league two at his age otherwise he won’t make it with us

LIAM MILLAR is being eyed up by Premier League relegated duo Burnley and Sheffield United.

And the Basel midfielder, 24 has also attracted interest from several Championship clubs.

That includes Preston, where he spent last season on loan and Sunderland as well as a number of European sides.

I’d expect plenty of interest in him. Good player. I’d be happy for us to sign him when Clarke leaves.
