Mepham is a very good signing on loan, especially given the injury track record to Ballard and Alese.

fills me with more confidence that Triantis would coming into the fold.

Just under 12 and a half hours to go and, from most people's lists, we still have at least 12 deals to do! I hope we've got a lot of admin staff on hand.

I'm probably most concerned about outgoings. A big squad is hard to manage and keep happy and it will do the development of a lot of our players throughout the age groups no good if we're left with too many here fighting for limited minutes (in the first team, the u21s and the u18s (as there is a knock on effect))

Reactions: Frazier the Lion
Think given our existing squad and injury mix, it probably makes sense to get a centre half rather than a full back. Does mean compromise if we need to cover rb/lb for a time but I would have said I was happy to do that without any defensive additions tbh.

I’d be happy with Mepham coming in if we’d been promoted to the PL tbh

Experience, a good age and a full international

This is a good signing, even if on loan.

Don't like when we rely on more than 1 or 2 loans but Mepham is a very good one especially with AJ not able to build a consistant run of starts
