Probably something simple as Player changed his mind or the Club did up till 11pm today anything can change, obviously what ST said was what was passed to him, i know Baz thinks that is Final 3 but i have a feeling maybe another late in day.
If we keep Oscar and Slater i think we would have had a great Transfer Window bringing those 3 in as well.
And no doubt if we are up near the top 6 jan the club will go all out to bring some in for the final push.

Furlong should be saying he'd walk the final eighth of a mile on his hands and knees to play for us...He's missed a chance there.

I agree. Disappointing window on a whole. A few decent players on loan with no options, a mediocre backup to Ingram, a couple of squad players in Lokilo and this Furlong and Philogene for big money but hasn't exactly torn the Championship up in his previous loan spells.
Meanwhile we look set to lose last season's top scorer with no replacement and the midfield still looks as lightweight as it did all last season. Oh well.
No signings that improve us in the long-term barring maybe Philogene and there's big expectations on him given his transfer fee. We paid a lot for Sinik too and look how that went.
Furlong has 1.2 key passes a game over his career vs Huddlestone only having 1.
He also only plays 1.4 long balls per game vs Huddlestone’s 5.7 so he will fit into our system better.
Furlong gets an assist every 215 minutes vs Huddlestone getting one assist for every 1175 minutes.
In terms of defence, Furlong makes 2.5 tackles per game vs Huddlestone’s 2.
In short, Furlong is a far better player than Huddlestone ever was.

Davis for Oscar seemed to be a big part of Rosie’s plan. So not getting Davis, still losing Oscar then not having any sort of replacement lined up seems absolutely mental to me.
Just spoken to a lad up north at Motherwell, his only comment was. "Ok going forward, terrible when the balls coming back, we didn't want him back"

It potentially creates a big problem next summer. Delap goes back to Man City, Connolly may end up elsewhere if he has a good season and can demand a signing on fee and improved wages. That would leave us needing some serious recruitment.
