Just had a nosey on a Brentford forum and there's plenty on their saying he should be getting more game time, so I doubt he'll be going anywhere.

And one is valued at less than a quarter of the other.Plenty on Villas board saying Philogene should stay. I guess the difference is that one appears to be pushing for game-time and the other seems content where he is.

Both tymon and klp were let down by their greedy agents turning their headOn a footballing basis alone, moving to Brentford has been a very poor choice. I’m sure he has been well paid. But he’s in footballing wilderness. He’ll end up back in the Championship before long I’d expect.
You really think anyone would pay £20m+ for KLP now?
Still probably higher value player than Philogene but his stock must have fallen due to a years worth of inactivity.

Jarrod Bowen developed here and stayed longer and it benefited him in the long run
Ehab was a **** but strange how Bowen had no problem signing the contracts but tymon and klp did
Tymon was a completely different situation, he only ever made five league appearances for us, he'd proven nothing and just happened to have Stoke fancy him.
And crucially, which for some reason always gets forgotten, we never gave him a pro contract. He remained on academy terms until he left. The KLP situation was one thing. But the Tymon thing was an absolute shambles from City.
Looks like we’re going to loan out Simons and Vaughan as well. Simons must be thinking ‘I could’ve stayed at Chelsea and gone on loan again to a League 1 team’.
Wouldn't be in contention for their first team on his return though would he? In fact if they were happy to sell him to us then they'd likely to have been happy to sell him to someone else also - so there's no guarantee he'd still be at Chelsea anyway.
You’re right and there were League 1 teams like Charlton that were apparently interested in signing him permanently in January but he was convinced to join us permanently instead. To loan him out now to a League 1 team all seems a bit pointless for the kid.
I agree both careers spoiled by moving prematurely. Both tymon and klp were let down by their greedy agents turning their head
