Davis looks like he will be able to play that role LR likes from the ST well but I really think we need another CM. If Woods and Doch don't leave then its not so bad but neither are ideal for what we need in the middle fo the park.

He played against us for Cardiff last season, and was a menace, the only Criticism then was his final ball, but he can certainly go past defenders, and I am sure the final ball delivery will have improved. He had a very good preseason according to Villa fans, he is the real deal IMO.

Hasn't played many games over his career and is hardly prolific. Downgrade on Oscar?

Supposedly someone on their end keeps leaking to the press on the regular. Probably the case with Davis

To be fair it's the athletic that broke Davis' name.

Don't think that's been greenlighted by the club like Philogene blatantly was.

That's what Oscar is imo and we know he can score.
Maybe Davis is cheaper to run?
 
Think it’s clear Rosey isn’t keen on Oscar, and I also don’t think Oscar really suits the way we play. I reckon he’ll bang them in at this level playing for a fast counter attacking team.
