Being critical of recent performances doesn't equate to a hatred of the manager, nor a desire for the team to lose. At least not for me. In fact I'd suggest it's quite the opposite, many of the frustrations vented on here come from a desire to see their team do well.
LR has had almost a year to get the players to play his system. I accept when he came in he staunched the defence to stop leaking. At the end of last season we endured totally boring, sleep inducing games. Tuesday was the epitome of boring football. We need to see something different tomorrow

Twine is obviously a good player and an exciting signing but… this has a massive whiff of last summer about it. We are saturated in his position and it seems pretty pointless and a waste of money to further strengthen what is already our strongest position.

It’s all well and good saying he can play here and he can play there but we’ve seen how having loads of players not playing their natural role leads to disjointed performances. What we really need I firmly believe are specialised players to round this team off and give it some proper balance.

Wingers that play wide and stretch the opposition, not player that can play on the wing but are naturally inclined to play more centrally and a thumping bone breaker in midfield.
We were in for Twine last year. He chose Burnley. Now they do not want him he wants to come to us. We have plenty of other options in midfield plus some good academy players coming through. He made his choice we should not go for sloppy seconds

Baz saying Twine is the player Acun has been referring to as the top English talent; we're trying to get a winger in on a permanent, AND Rak-Sakiyi on loan. All three deals could be done early next week.

Breakthrough with a GK, and Bird still on the agenda too.
Twine was a marginalised player at Burnley and told he is not part of their future. If this is top,English talent then maybe I can sell him my Betamax player which is also the up and coming thing. All it needs is a bit of Amun magic

Twine’s clearly already done, there’s no way the local media were allowed to start talking about it without getting the nod, he’ll be sat in the West Stand tomorrow.
So again we go for rejects that clubs promoted do not think capable of operating at a higher lever. I have supported the tigers for over 60 years but this again seems a strange buy. Those of you of my generation will remember Ken Wagstaff hardly being the slimmest forward like Connolly but he delivered. Hope the same is true of Connolly

He’s not a reject ffs, he just needs game time and that will be hard to find for a club who’ve just been promoted to the Premier League.

I hope he doesn't smoke the same as Ken.

Why exactly is that a problem?
