When things don’t go well on The pitch then the managers comments get scrutinised
Terry little nige and now rosenior are having that done
Don’t tell a fan we shoulda won or played well when we didn’t or if you do expect to get it questioned and pointed out where and how we were poor
Or deflect about a reffing decision talk about the performance and how poor we were
We aren’t idiots
Simple as that

we play well tomorrow and the fans will praise it
Do the same thing again hanging Ingram out to dry and the fans will go mad

You have more faith than me mate.

I think the majority of society's stupid as ****.

Baz saying Twine is the player Acun has been referring to as the top English talent; we're trying to get a winger in on a permanent, AND Rak-Sakiyi on loan. All three deals could be done early next week.

Breakthrough with a GK, and Bird still on the agenda too.

If all that comes off you’d have to say that’s a very successful window. Especially if the other three are of similar quality to Twine and Rak Sakyi

Baz suggesting a fair bit could be happening this week. Maybe Rosenior was right.

In his Twine article he mentions we are in for a highly rated winger on a permanent along with the loan approach for the palace winger. Still hopeful of Bird and aiming to bring a GK.

Wonder who the winger is, we where obviously linked to Ryan Fraser. He was a good player but I'm a little uneasy about how his career has gone over the last year or so.

Hull City are closing in on securing one of their top transfer targets with discussions continuing over a move to bring Scott Twine to the MKM Stadium.

City have been in extensive talks with Burnley for a lengthy period of time and a deal is close to completion, with a belief a season-long long switch will be wrapped up early next week after the Premier League new boys gave the green light.

The news comes as a significant boost to head coach Liam Rosenior ahead of Saturday's Yorkshire derby with Sheffield Wednesday at the MKM Stadium after a tough first week of the new season.

Twine, who was close to joining the Tigers last summer before opting to leave MK Dons for Turf Moor, has remained a top target for head coach Rosenior and is thought to be keen on a move to City.

Boss Rosenior along with owner Acun Ilicali have been keen to wait throughout the summer to secure Twine's services, and sources have told Hull Live they believe their patience is about to be rewarded.

The 24-year-old creative midfielder is viewed as a key part of the club's demand to add more creativity to a team that struggled at times last term, particularly in the number 10 position.

The imminent arrival of Twine, who Hull Live can now reveal as the player Ilicali has often referred to in media interviews in recent months, will spark a flurry of new arrivals in the next few days.

It can also be revealed that City are in talks with a club over the permanent transfer of a highly-rated winger in addition to the conversations they're holding with Crystal Palace over a move for Jesurun Rak-Sakyi.

The identity of that player remains a closely guarded secret for now with officials at the MKM Stadium keen to wrap up the deal as soon as possible, and not alert their rivals.

This is good news.

Presumably a central midfielder or two will be moving on.

Picking a midfield 3 from

Seri
Slater
Simons
Tufan
Traore
Doc
Twine
Bird

Currently still Woods in that mix. Doc will likely be looking to be shifted but will he be fit and/or get a move by the time the window shuts. Doesn’t ring true with wanting a small squad really does it.

Assuming Doc goes, then you're basically left with two options for each of the three positions, with some of those able to play across the front 3 when needed too (Twine, Tufan, Traore in a pinch) so it's not as bloated as it looks, but that's without knowing what our forward stocks will look like. It could mean we end up looking at sending Covil and Vaughn out on loan.
