Will it be announced soon that we are Fenerbahce feeder club, asking for a friend.
Given they’re regularly playing in the champions league I’d not be too fussed if they want our players at some stage. Whether we give them is another matter

And as we all well know Baz knows **** all and gets all his info off here. That bloke on twitter is a more trustworthy source.

And aside from that, I was replying to OLM’s comment saying he would bet his anal virginity (something like that) on the fee for Connolly being the same fee we get for Tetteh. And the fee for Tetteh is €1.5m which is roughly £1.2m so it all works out.

We all know Baz has a relationship with the club and will print what he's told. Do you know who the bloke on twitter was?

What are you on about?

You were starting we paid 1.2m and that we were getting 1.5m for Tetteh.

No ones said anything about the Tetteh fee other than that it will be nominal, and the 1.2m for Connolly came from a random bloke tweeting it and has since been debunked.

So effectively you're believing an unverified source over someone with a relationship with the club who is basically told what to print.

The Tetteh fee was rumoured to be €1.5m. It’s got nothing to do with that random bloke on twitter.

Maybe it is 'nominal' in comparison to what he was expecting for the big cart horse...?

Said it won't be a big fee and we didn't ask for a big fee.

His estimated market value on transfermarkt is 1.5m, but ultimately it will be whatever Metz are prepared to pay. Transfer appears to be on compassionate grounds from city's perspective.

The key there are the words "should the loan prove successful, the Tigers will look to make the deal permanent".... should the loan prove to be successful Fenerbache will want him back. From that wording there is no option it seems to convert the loan to a transfer if it works out...

How do you figure that out? 'Good' for us might be 'surplus' at Fenerbache. Just how 'surplus' for us would probably be 'good' for most League 1 sides. How do we know the club haven't already had a preliminary discussion about a potential permanent deal?
We don't 'know' anything about it.

I’m not believing anything you CSM. I’ve explained it twice and you’ve still failed to comprehend what I wrote.

If we are paying anything over €0 for conolly its too much

Think that’s harsh as he’s a decent player but paying a transfer fee for someone and only giving them a one-year contract with no option (at least from the announcement) is baffling whichever way you look at it.

It's not different ( and definitely not baffling) to having a years loan you pay a fee for. We have done it this way to free up a loan spot ( which will give you an indication of our aims ) and if things are going well we can negotiate an extended contract direct with the player at any point during the season

Was Allahyars loan successful enough for us to make it permanent and did fenerbache want him back?
