Yeah he's never impressed me, although he seemed to do well at Burnley last year.
Good that our young players seem to be getting league loans this year.
It's good to see them going to L2 but he's gone as the back up RB, which I never understand the point of.
Probably closer than he’ll get to our first team and will be good to be in and around that full time environment I guess. He was on loan at Boston last year who are only part time I think.
They are in the qualifiers though for the Europa Conference league, they play Club Brugge in the 1st leg on 27/7.
Tom can play on the wing too, if Grant plays 3 at the back he can also slot in at right centre back
I hope he gets game time but that Donny squad looks strong for L2. Tom's a very typical Grant signing though as he's one he could definitely keep permanently and then develop
To be fair, our backup right back played more than our first choice last season.
Quite often players go in as a back up, get an opportunity early on, and seize it. Emmanuel in League One comes to mind..
