Can't really compare the 2 (or 3) though.
Old man Allam knew absolutely nothing about football (and was a bit of a ****, in relation to our club).
Silly **** Ehab also knew next to nothing about football, but thought & pretended he did, and was a massive **** . )
Neither chose to install a Tan equivalent.
Acun knows a lot about football, being a massive fan and student of the game, having had previous experience, etc. And he's wise enough (although it doesn't really take much wisdom) to have people like Tan around him.
There is however a balance that he needs to be careful to maintain, between being hands on / hands off.
I think KT is spot on saying "Still feel very positive about the direction of the club but it seems to me both Liam and Acun/Tan are still on a steep (& costly*) learning curve". (* added text).

you can say what you want about Ehab (**** / bonus hole) but he sold Clucas for £16 million - 10 out of 10 there

Old man Allam didn’t get much right in the pr side of things etc
But
He was very clear
Steve Bruce is the manager and he’s in charge of all the football side of things
As it is at all the best clubs
As soon as silly **** ehab knew better and meddled it went tits up

to pretend it’s good and acun should comment on footballing targets or recruitment is ****ing stupid and him passing on info via blokes from a pub ffs no

Happens with every owner, there's always someone close to them who has the inside scoop. We used to hear bits with the Allams, but with them it'd come from sponsors and rich types. The difference here is that Acun has no links to local rich people and has built a relationship with some blokes in a pub instead, so they're the ones getting the info that East Yorkshire business leaders would've got previously. Is it worse? Suppose if they're less likely to keep it quiet then maybe.

The signings so far are underwhelming. Winger I have never heard of and a loanee striker from Man City. According to my mate Rerver we are signing Vinagre strokes tomorrow. He does not sound very robust so who knows. (Vinagre strokes, not Rerver)

Delap (confirmed), Vinegar Tits (confirmed tomorrow?)...

The two wingers now identified as - Lokilo and Philogene.

The only other areas confirmed as targets are a creative number 10 (possibly Twine if he becomes available?) and goalkeeping competition for Ingram.

Baz now distancing himself from Connolly.

No other incomings unless replacements for players sold.

Word of the day: underwhelming.

And last years loanees.... Vale, Salah, Pelkas, Ebiowei, Connolly, and Darlow all had much better youtube clips.

Scouts need sacking.

I just think we need a director of football. With Acun, Kesler, Darnbrough and Rosenior all having some input into transfer targets, it’s starting to look a lot like a camel being a horse designed by committee.

Alternatively, we need to loan some of Man City and Chelsea's accountants who clearly are better at cooking the books to get around FFP.
(That is of course if Acun really does have the money he claims to have but not permitted to invest)

Is Darnborough still employed here? I presumed he went soon after his mate Ehab left
