If it's Twine then no, because Twine is mainly a winger who can cover as an attacking midfielder, not the other way around. Twine plus another #10 is just daft.

I agree and I rate Simons a lot. Simons + Seri is far more balanced than Seri + any of Slater, Woods and Docherty. I'll guess we'll see if Simons will be used more this season than last. If Rosenior trusts Simons to be an important player this season, we might not have to buy a new defensive midfielder.

Maybe it's a winger and a 10 or maybe its 1 who can operate in both positions, but baz did suggest the 10 could also operate wide

Figs has gone, Woods has been reportedly been told he can leave. Doc had interest from Scotland and the championship last summer. Expect Lo Tutala out on loan when we bring in a gk, then there's the 2 obvious assets we might decide to use to generate fees for others.

I wondered from Baz's Q&A if the number 10 they are waiting for could potentially be McAtee.

Who's interested in Docherty? I haven't heard of anyone up here showing an interest.
