Imo, Vaughan and Longman like to take their player on (which is good to see), but I wouldn't call them particularly quick. And I wouldn't have thought either of them would be regular starters.
Allahyar is quick, but he has to improve massively this season, or else he won't be a regular starter either. There has to be some outcome from his pace and the effort he puts in. So far there's been next to none.

I have faith Ally can come good, seems to have a great attitude towards fitness and training. Better fluidity as a team in the final 3rd will help him also. Soon we could be singing...."SAYADMANESH, Better than all the rest, Better than anyone, Anyone I've ever met". Whilst clapping above our heads like David Brent

In the press conference today, Acun said 'I will spend £15 million out of my pocket every year'. It was in Turkish so something may have got lost in translation but the general feeling I'm getting from people on here that have inside knowledge is that we can't spend any significant money on transfer fees and wages until we sell some players for big money.

He's basically confirming that he will invest the max he can to comply with FFP - but that's nothing new. He's been whinging on every platform he can since the takeover that he can't invest as much as he wants to.
