I believe Preston want him back, not sure if it has happened yet.Where's Tom Cannon from Everton gone? Would have probably liked him if we were after a young forward on loan but Delap should do well too.

Wasn't that Livermore who disrupted training to 'get a move' (at least according to DM)?Then when we nursed him through it he disrupted training to get a move.
True professional.
Wonder if we were interested. He would've fit Rosenior's profile of players who've proven themselves by being promoted from this level before.

Snodgrass did come with some injury issue. Tbf, good player for us. Always gave everything.
There’s a few left-backs we could’ve signed instead of one with injury issues (the severity yet to be determined) and played more than 4 games last season. Ryan Manning, George Cox, Joe Bryan, Lee Buchanan etc. Haydon Roberts was a decent option too before he joined Bristol City.
Yes but I think Snodgrass did as well. Think Meyler name-dropped Snodgrass on that podcast as well.
Assuming four or five quality incomings, I'm not sure how Harry Vaughan or Xavier Simons get sufficient game time for their development.
Rosie only threw them Harry into the mix last season in matches where there was nothing to play for, and Simons mostly got minutes at the end of games where the result was already certain.
It might be better for their development to loan them out for half a season to league one clubs in which they are starters every week.
One player refused to play at Chelsea away claiming injury. He was passed fit by the clubs medical team. He didn't play and I could be wrong here but i'm sure he was sent home from the clubs hotel either the night before or on the morning of the game. And he wasnt the only one in that squad pulling the same ruse.Wasn't that Livermore who disrupted training to 'get a move' (at least according to DM)?

Next season we’ve got 5 subs from 9 like the PL, so players will/should get more chances.Assuming four or five quality incomings, I'm not sure how Harry Vaughan or Xavier Simons get sufficient game time for their development.

Vinagre was pretty much available from the bench at least 80% of the games. He missed the end of the season through injury but i think it was nothing serious or we would have recovered here at Sporting and he didn't.
He's not injured he's just s**t
Hopefully we do get these "4 or 5" quality incomings.
Assuming we do, I'd hope we'd keep Simons and Vaughan here as part of the first team squad and allow them to sensibly grow & develop by giving them time with the squad and experience off the bench & in cup games. Maybe in another season or two they would be starters and maybe our next Bowen / KLP (except staying with us, in the PL).
The man cant defend in the portuguese league when Sporting spends 75% of the time attacking do you think he can defend in the most physical and difficult league in europe?
He surely can't be. He's played for Portugal U16's through to U21's and both Wolves and S Lisbon took him on after first having him with them on loan.
Maybe not good enough for top level, but for Championship. And he's still only just turned 24. ?
Can we knock this idea on the head that 4/5 incoming is anywhere near enough.
From last season we've lost:
Darlow
Elder
Pelkas
Ebiowei
Connolly
Woods and Fig have been told they're not part of LR's plans
Oscar & Greaves look like they're off
Fleming and Sinik were shipped out by LR as not fancied.
And Longman was cut from the 18 last season for Ebiowei last season too and I don't think he's rated either. And we were still short of wingers
I've not even mentioned Doch either
No idea. I don't know anything about him, other than the stats I see on Wiki. I find it hard to be believe he can really be "****".
