I wonder if Roma are looking at him as the player Tan mentioned. Chris Smalling isn’t getting any younger. Massive step up, I can’t think of many others they’d be interested in or have already earmarked as first team players.

Another name I've heard is George Dobson for the #6 role. Plays for Charlton. Really aggressive player and arguably Charlton's best player. Not sure if he's good enough for the Championship in terms of his technical ability on the ball but he's a proper #6. Tackling and interception stats look good.

Chris smalling....jeez, I forgot about him being an active footballer.
