Greaves isn't in any rush. If a pl club comes in with an offer he can't refuse then it'd come with an offer the club couldn't refuse either, so it would be a win win. Personally I think he'll be here this season. Same with Ingram. Club rightly have more faith in him than some of the fans. We need 2 no 1s. And he's got the jersey at the moment. He's worthy of it. We have a huge up and coming talent in Lo-Tutala if we can get some experience into him. Reckon we'll go with those 2 in pre season and a keeper will be signed at the back end of the window.
Slater is an interesting one. If we could get £4/5m then I'd be tempted to cash in. He had a good season (wasn't POTS good though), but I hope we bring in a defensive midfielder and that's going to limit his minutes. This summer feels like a game of who can we cash in on whilst figuring out who leaving hurts us the least.
He's added goals and assists to his game now and is only 23. He's improving year on year, I don't think £4/5m is horrendous in this market and I wouldn't sell him for less. If we stick a proper defensive midfielder alongside him, he'll look great but where does that leave Seri?
I wouldn't sell him for less either but there is no chance in this current market a club is offering 4-5m for him. There's just not that sort of money available outside the parachute clubs and the parachute clubs wouldn't go for him.
But his low wages mean that the overall cost of a transfer wouldn't be that high. He'd be a safe bet for any side with parachute payments It's irrelevant anyway as he's signed a new deal! They want Harry Vaughan to be next too
I know that Greaves was desperate to leave last summer. He really wanted to go to Boro as he couldn’t stand Shota (along with the majority of players) but then singed a nice £15k a week deal. If he goes this summer it will be to a prem club for a decent sum to allow us to spend a bit of money on strengthening.
I would cash in on Slater for £1M. Our player of the season yet not a hint of any other clubs looking at him tells a story. And personally Greaves wouldn't be in my starting back four, so links to Premier League clubs sounds more like agent nonsense.

Tan is doing the rounds as it's membership day and we've signed no new players. Lewis Coyle and Regan Slater is all we have to talk about. One team from the Championship and one from abroad keeping tabs. Wow.
Hull City have agreed terms on a new long-term contract for midfielder Regan Slater, in what's another big boost ahead of the Tigers' return to pre-season training on Monday. Slater has agreed a three-year contract with the option of a fourth, it's understood, and becomes the third player this week to commit his future to 2026 with the Championship club after Lewie Coyle's new deal was announced on Monday lunchtime and David Robson on Tuesday.
If we were to sell Slater for a big fee it would be very much like the Clucas transfer in my eyes. Personally I don’t see him having another season like the one he’s just had. Hope I’m wrong, unless it’s not with us.
N'Golo Kante: Chelsea midfielder agrees to join Saudi champions Al-Ittihad. Newcastle make €50m offer for AC Milan midfielder Sandro Tonali.
